1. Service Description
Botnus provides AI-powered chatbot and voice assistant services for businesses. Our platform enables you to deploy a customized AI chatbot on your website to answer customer questions, capture leads, and book appointments. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Account Terms
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Payment Terms
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All plans are billed monthly in USD. A one-time setup fee of $499 applies to all new accounts, which covers persona design and knowledge base training. Monthly plans include Starter ($99/mo) and Pro ($199/mo), with custom Enterprise pricing available on request.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all plans. Refund requests after 14 days will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Botnus to:
- Generate or distribute spam, phishing, or malicious content
- Impersonate individuals, organizations, or government entities
- Collect personal data from users without proper consent
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
- Exceed your plan's conversation limits through automated means
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you provide to train your chatbot (knowledge base, FAQs, business information). Botnus retains ownership of the platform, software, and underlying technology. AI-generated responses during chatbot conversations are provided as part of the service and do not constitute our endorsement of any content.
6. Limitation of Liability
Botnus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies, and you are responsible for reviewing chatbot outputs for your specific use case.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your chatbot will be deactivated and your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless you request earlier deletion.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada. By using Botnus, you consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.
